Any ideas what happened to my cucumbers? Only one cuke on each plant - and now no longer growing and may be dying. So sad - first time growing cucumbers.

Looks like insufficient watering, and/or planting cucumbers that have already formed vines and flowers while still in cell-packs or small containers.  Or a combination of the two.  I often see these bulbous cucumbers on stunted plants in our community garden, and it's usually because people bought plants that were in cell-packs too long.  It's usually a waste of time to plant cucumber seedlings like this, because they always result in stunted plants that produce few fruits.  I never plant cucumber seedlings that are already flowering in small pots.  The best point to transplant cucurbits (cucumbers, squash, and melons) is when they have one or two true leaves and no flowers.
