Hello all,

I am new to this forum and I am also a first time gardener. :-) I have a huge cucumber that I thought should be ready to pick but why is it white on the bottom?

I guess this is a bad pic but the lighter you can see at the end that it is light. It is the same color all the way across the bottom.

It doesn't look bad ... I pick cucumbers that look like that all the time and they taste fine.

I can't see it clearly, but it's all natural in cucumber that has a white on it's skin. It's taste the same as the green ones.
